VIN On Spot

Terms and Conditions

The terms that govern your use of VIN On Spot and the sale of your vehicle.

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the VIN On Spot (VOS) website and services. By using the site, requesting an offer, or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

02Who we are

VOS is a direct buyer of vehicles. We are not a dealer or broker acting on your behalf. We buy vehicles for our own account and handle repair, transport, and resale through our affiliated companies.

03Offers

An initial offer is an estimate based on the information you provide, including your VIN, mileage, and condition details. It is not a binding commitment to buy.

A final offer is confirmed after we inspect the vehicle. If the inspection shows the vehicle differs from what was described, the final offer may be revised. You are free to accept or decline any offer.

04Your account and information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or are authorized to sell it, and that you will provide valid title and any required payoff documents.

05Inspection and pickup

Inspections are quick condition checks, not test drives. You agree to make the vehicle available and to provide accurate keys, title, and documents at pickup.

06Payment and loan payoffs

Once everything is signed, we pay by secure ACH. The amount you accept is the amount you receive, with no VOS fees deducted.

If there is a loan, we work with your lender on the payoff. If the loan is less than the offer, you receive the difference. If the loan is more than the offer, you are responsible for the remaining balance.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, submit false information, or interfere with its operation or security.

08Intellectual property

The VOS name, logo, and site content are owned by VOS or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

09Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and services are provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which VOS operates, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
